Weekend Debrief

This past weekend WIRE FESTIVAL returned to Brooklyn for its 5th year anniversary. The festival aims to highlight the most promising talents in the US and International Techno/house scenes all while building the community with panel discussions, expert talks and industry networking.

The festival this year was highly successful taking over 4 venues on a corner block on Scott st. There were lots of cool events and we hope that our readers got to enjoy some of them.

Open Decks This Week

1. Open Decks with FLWRSHRK at Marco’s

   Join FLWRSHRK and the rest of the No Scrubz NYC crew for their monthly open decks and meet-up!

3. Intro to CDJs workshops with HD- at DELIRIUM studios

   Wed, 5/20, 7-9pm, 286 Meserole st

   Learn the basics of the most commonly used DJ equipment, the CDJ. All levels welcome for a guided in person tutorial with live demo and the chance to try hands on. We'll take a detailed and accessible look at the hardware and also get into the context of the evolution of Pioneer DJ and the growth of the DJ bubble
